Here's is the catch, I want to add a blitter to it (it has the socket) but I'm missing a support chip for the blitter. Any one out there know what it is ? If I add the blitter and boot the machine it hangs half way thru the booting processing before even getting to the hard drive. Remove the blitter and all is fine. Techincal specs: Board revision: C10059 REV 2. The missing chip is a 20 pin DIP marked as U69 with it's associated capacitor marked as C98. The blitter chip is marked as U66. Both the blitter and the missing IC are near the lower right hand corner. Most of the lines that run form the blitter to the IC are in the pins 50-60 roughly as numbered on the blitter. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Nick. P.S. Atari doesn't officially support or recognize this model but any help form Atari personel would be appreciated. Allan?
