But I find myself stymied by the lack of DMA handshake signalling protocol info. I have searched long and hard, but the best I could come up with was the IBM PC hardware manual. The manual just has a brief description of the ISA Bus signal functions with a lot of questions unanswered (the norm for IBM manuals?). Can somebody give me any info about where to look for things like DMA cycle timing diagrams etc.? I would imagine there are a lot of people out there in netland designing pc peripherals. I would appreciate any inputs from them. Thanx
