I have a Tatung PWB-2072 motherboard which is from a Tatung TCS-8000. It has 1M of SIMM memory in Bank zero using 4 x 256K SIMMs. I have bought 4 x 1M SIMMs which I have tried to install in Bank zero. Unfortunately the machine intermittently kicks out a parity error at address 0000:0002. Could it be that I have a dodgy SIMM connector? Or would this kick out a series of parity errors? Does anyone out there have a similar Tatung motherboard? Or does anyone have experience of memory locations on SIMMs? Thanks in advance. Kev e-mail kap@eng.cam.ac.uk
