We currently are using a product called automator that types in commands
(through bios) based on certian events. For instance, at midnight it envokes 
a 3270 emulator. Types in the password and userid. The it starts a JCL job
and ftp's the file to the LAN after the report is finish running.

Automator is, however, a very difficult package to use.  Is there anything
out there like automator?
