Lately, I have been getting "system error while reading from drive B"
occasionally when I try to read a 3.5" disk in my B drive. If I
re-format the disk, the error goes away; I can write and read
successfully. I'm wondering if there may be a problem developing in my
drive. If it is in fact the fault of my drive, why would re-formatting
the disk fix the problem?

Has anyone had a similar experience?
