OK, this will not come as much of a surprise:  most of the people
responding to my request for the names of good shareware terminal
packages (i.e., I was looking for a scrollable session log and
Mac II compatibility) mentioned:

ZTerm and MacKermit - available from sumex.

Another interesting-sounding package is MacLayers from 128.83.138.20.

Thanks for the responses.  I guess the versions of MacKermit and ZTerm
I had were out of date, because the former had no scrollable log and
the latter caused my Mac II to bomb under Multifinder...
