We have a few Imagewriter II's on Appletalk networks here.
The one's that don't have any kind of Star Controller
involved seem to work OK.  The one's connected via Star Controller
frequently stop in the middle of a page at random times, and the
Mac gets tired of waiting and displays an error message.  An upgrade
to the chips inside the Star Controller is available but doesn't
seem to have helped.  I haven't researched the problem completely, yet.
