I have a digital PCM VCR (Toshiba) It  does actual digital recording,
I wonder if there is some way I could use it without spending
$500 on software?  The main problem would be that it doesn't have
a digital in or out. It could, but it would be rather expensive to
convert.
So you have to got through the DA converters. I guess this is 
where the problems would occur?
