Last time I looked into this I realized that even tho it works and is less expensive than a SCSI tape drive (only if you don't have to buy the VCR, also), it is a pain to use. First off, the software was years behind even Apple's ----- and the most important down side is that it takes 2 hours to back up 80 MB. 80 MB was the limit when I looked this thing over. Even tho it is more costly, I went with a 150 MB tape and enjoy my backups at 6-8 MB per minute. Then I can get on with life. BTW, I have decided that a full backup (booting from a floppy), reinitialization and restoration is the best and quickest way to perform an effective compression and defrag operation. -- Tom Langseth, Tom.Langseth@f421.n109.z1.fidonet.org via The Black Cat's Shack's FidoNet<->Usenet Gateway blkcat.fidonet.org and Fidonet 1:109/401
