Specifically, I need: 1. A good home accounts/money management/tax preparation program(s). Which is the best one around? I already have my accounts on-line, so I need a program that can import existing data in some format (I can get it into any reasonable format). 2. A genealogy/family tree program (or hypercard stack) that can print a variety of family tree information graphically. Preferably one that is customizable. 3. A recipe management program (or hypercard stack). 4. Can I use my Mac as a telephone answering machine? 5. I have a bunch of games, but I'd like to get something that can take full advantage of the color graphics and sound of the IIsi. I like text- and graphics-based "adventure" or "fantasy" type games more than "arcade" games. 6. Any nifty gardening software out there? 7. Other things I can do with my Mac? I can work and play games... What else do people use their Macs for? I know there are several programs out there for most of these applications; I'd like your opinions on which are the best, especially if you've used any of these programs yourself and know their capabilities and limitations. Please e-mail if possible. Thanks in advance... -- Ashwin (ashwin@cc.gatech.edu)
