MultiFinder 6.1b9 has a feature that will allow you to "Set Aside" applications and their windows so that you can do other things without them interfering. The problem with this solution is locating MF 6.1b9. It came with some Apple Development tools originally, but was never released to the mass public that I know of (read: the feature was removed before release). The good news if that System 7.0 includes a feature similar to this. John -- John A.
