Other than finding the beta version of MultiFinder which contains the "Set Aside" feature, you could look for a very reliable INIT called WindowShade 1.1 which "rolls up" the windows of any application when you double-click on the title bar. It can make MultiFinder much friendlier on a 9-inch Macintosh screen. There are other INITs around too, but WindowShade is rock solid. Can't give you an ftp site for it, but it's around.
