Can anyone tell me the name of a utility that can take a unix shell archive (or .shar file) and separate the individual files. Or tell me what the precise format of a shell archive is, so I can write a quick little hack to do it myself. The format 'looks' simple, but I'd prefer a real specification of the format before I try coding anything. I "KNOW" something exists, because I've used it once. -Carl ADVthankTHANKthankANCE -- Carl A Baltrunas 408/922-6206|SMTP:carl@doctor.TYMNET.COM,carl@tymix.tymnet.com BT Tymnet (Network Services) |UUCP: ...!{ames,pyramid}!oliveb!tymix!doctor!carl PO Box 49019, MS/C41 |PDP-10 support: 36-bits forever! well, awhile!
