Fouche) Organization: University of Maryland at College Park Lines: 23 I really hate to waste bandwith on discussions of this sort, but I would like to point out that the Mac Classic has a memory expansion slot. This isn't the same as the SE expansion slot, but some bright boys at serveral different companies already make accelerators for that slot and some are planning video cards. And in all reality if you are going to buy a compact mac and want to accelerate it or add video a used SE/30 is a much better platform. Built-in apple-compatible acceleration (they made it) and color quickdraw to boot. The only real difference between the Classic and the SE is the 5% speed loss on the Classic. And if you install just on stupid init (a la Stupid mac tricks) that'll go a away. So in all reality it's probably a fair comparison....
