This is certainly a problem if you don't want to replay the same scavenger hunt that everybody else has gone on. I had hoped that Minix for the pc532 could be done as nicely and professionally as the hardware but the reaction I seemed to get from everybody other than Dave and George was "that's the fun of Minix" and "this a'int a Mac." :-( Lacking a great deal of tinkering time, my pc532 has largely ended up being a space heater. As expressed before, I'd be willing to help rectify this if there is any interest out there. > On Prentice-Hall floppy? This is a poor solution for those of us with no way to read them. I've fixed a few more bugs since then, though it still doesn't know how to make outgoing calls. A few things are hacked pending kernel support. I've also ported smail 2.5. Only a couple of minor changes; I'm not sure if I posted about this or not. > ksh: > posted to pc532-src. >From what I could figure you first need to port ESTDIO to get this running. Seems to me I grabbed it but ran out of time to spend on porting that too. -- Karl Swartz |INet kls@ditka.chicago.com 1-408/223-1308 |UUCP {uunet, decwrl}!daver!ditka!kls |Snail 1738 Deer Creek Ct., San Jose CA 95148 "It's psychosomatic.
