Subject: pageMaker 4.0 - Edit menu trouble

Got a weird problem.  The edit menu won't drop
down.  The key commands still work though.

Occasionally, the menu will drop down, but it will
be blank.  Very strange.

I initially, had no problems with the program, but I
had been away from the computer for a while and other
individuals could have added programs, inits ...

I've cleaned out the system folder - only running 
ATM, ThunderII, and Type Align.

I've reinstalled PM 4.0 twice.  Once from the backup 
and once from the masters.  No luck :-(

Anyone run into this before?  Suggestions?
