Lines: 26 I am wondering if there is anybody out there who has compiled GNU software on there machine, and has notes on the procedures used to compile on SCO Sys V. I have already compiled gcc successfully. I have compiled binutils, but the loader complains about the crt1.o file so I am not using it yet. I have made trivial attempts at g++ (I have been short of time lately). I would like to compile groff, ghostscript, emacs, smalltalk, elisp, and other stuff. Eventually I'd like to compile X11R4. What I'm looking for is examples of makefiles, patches if necessary, etc. I know that there are other folks out there using this stuff on SCO and I'd like to gain some second hand experience. I am willing to post a summary, or provide a guest login, or anonymous UUCP for people to download the results. Respond by email to chuck@csn.org. Chuck Luciano Do I hafta' have a .sig ?
