After loading Windows 3.0 (and finding that WIN.INI did *not* recognize PIF files, as the documentation said it would -- I fixed that), I found that four of my six non-Windows applications worked fine. The two that didn't were Lotus 1-2-3 and WP5.0. When I try to open these applications, the screen blanks, then displays the opening screens of the programs *very* briefly, then bounces back to Windows, where it displays the message that the application has violated system integrity, and I must exit and reboot. Does anyone have a clue? I'm using the default PIF settings suppliied by Windows, have HIMEM in the config.sys file, and have 4 megs of RAM to play with. No other applications are running when I run either 123 or WP.
