Message-ID: <299@shograf.UUCP> Date: 3 Jan 91 19:27:15 GMT Reply-To: jim@shograf.UUCP (jim morris) Organization: SHOgraphics Lines: 24 Is there any demand for a toolbook users newsgroup?? Or can we just post toolbook programs to this group, or set up a mailing list?? Is it legal to distribute the .tbk files to other people who have toolbook?? Does anyone care? Ok, presuming the answers are yes, I would like to see an interchange of ideas and/or books that people have worked on. Also a list of known bugs that have been discovered, but Asymetrix won't own up to, would be nice! Other than the slowness of anything written in openscript I rather like being able to quickly knock out simple apps. (Quickly is a relative term translated to meen a weekend!) Any other feedback is welcome. Also a comparison between Spinackers Plus and Toolbook would be welcome. (From real first hand experience, the review that PC week did comparing the two was next to useless!!). -- Jim jim@shograf.UUCP or motcsd!shograf!jim
