I received an upgrade of Excel that was supposed to be version 2.1c, but when I run the program, it identifies itself as 2.1d. Is this an improvement over 2.1c, or have I received a mistake. On a related note: I've noticed that Excel sometimes takes an incredible amount of time to delete or insert a cell in a large worksheet. It seems to be fickle: sometimes, it will delete the cell in a split-second; other times, it might take 15 minutes. Is this due to a lack of system memory? I am running a 386SX with 2 MB of RAM. Thanks. Tom Solomon solomon@chaos.utexas.edu
