Message-ID: <1991Jan5.132635@mathcs.emory.edu> Date: 5 Jan 91 18:26:35 GMT Sender: news@mathcs.emory.edu Reply-To: km@mathcs.emory.edu (Ken Mandelberg) Organization: Emory University, Dept of Math and CS Lines: 14 Its a real credit to the X community that there are a number of very nice public domain graphing and drawing utilities, which in many ways are as good as commerical software (and in a key way better -- source!). Are there also PD X wordprocessors of some sophistication, that would appeal to people used to commerical wordprocessors (word, wordperfect, ..)? Personally I use text formaters (troff,TeX) and wouldn't know a good wordprocessor from a bad one, but the question seems to come up. -- Ken Mandelberg | km@mathcs.emory.edu PREFERRED Emory University | {rutgers, gatech}!emory!km UUCP Dept of Math and CS | km@emory.bitnet NON-DOMAIN BITNET Atlanta, GA 30322 | Phone: (404) 727-7963
