I don't have references on me right now, but I know a couple of other groups
that are working on asynch architectures (other than Caltech):
Prof. M. Rem (chairman) of Computer Science Dept. Eindhoven University of
   Technology.
Prof. J. Brzozowski (chairman) of Computer Science Dept. University of  
   Waterloo.
Prof. J. Ebergen (graduate of Eindhoven UT) of Computer Science Dept. Univ.
   of Waterloo.
