I have connected to many anon ftp sites only to find that the files I am 
interested in have a ".tar.Z" filename extension.  Can someone please explain
what this extension indicates about the file and if possible how can I use
that file (ie, download and use on my 386 PC)?  Will I need special software
or conversion programs?
