The unix system ethernet card has an external transceiver (with N connectors) for thick ethernet. The pc cards have built-in bnc connectors for thin ethernet. The length of the network cable will be short (less than 100 feet total). Can I just put a pair of N-to-BNC adapters on the thick transceiver and run thin cable for the whole system, or is there more to the interface than that? Thanks in advance. -- John R.
