Maybe this will ring a bell with someone...

Someone here uses his Ultra to dial into our T2500s. He gets a
V.32/V.42 (or is it V.32/MNP, whatever, he reports "error control")
connect and then, very often, after a few to several minutes gets
thrown off, disconnected, hung up, gone, vapor, a ghost...

Any suggestions?
