I have been asked to find something out; I am new to comp.editors. I would welcome recommendations from anyone on a very simple screen-based editor for UNIX. (mode-less, control-characterless if poss) We want to run such a beast on several platforms: Pyramid Osx (berkeley/sys V) AIX (ps/2, v.3, 370) and possibly DOS and VMS. Basically wewant something any computer-naiive sorts can pick up with ease and minimal (zero?) tutoring Molto Grazie, in anticipo.. I would welcome email suggestions, and it would be helpful if a short summary could be included of features. -- JANET: law@uk.ac.lon.ioe | Lindsay Wakeman EARN/BITNET: law%ioe.lon.ac.uk@ukacrl.bitnet | Institute of Education INTERNET:law%ioe.lon.ac.uk@nsfnet-relay.ac.uk | 20 Bedford Way London WC1H OAL UUCP: !mcvax!ukc!educ-isis!law | VOICE +44 71 636 1500 ext.512
