Hi, I am new here.  I've been looking for a way to create 
Sanskrit characters.  I know this is possible - why else would they 
have a user-defined character set?  I have talked to some of the 
professors around, and they suggested something called a "font     
editor".  The whole thing seems to be a lot simpler than 
everyone is making it out to be.  Or maybe I just don't appreciate
the difficulties involved (I'm about 2 1/2 steps away from  
computer-illiterate).  Any info, suggestions, etc.  would be
greatly appreciated.
