On a VAX with BSD 4.3 when compiling eval.c the macro
S_ISFIFO comes up undefined although I see it gets defined
in perl.h.  I'm using the std c compiler.

Anyone else had this problem?

BTW: I've compiled it fine on NeXT2.0 and AUX2.0 so far.
