In response to some of the questions, here are some answers: Anyone can write for the newsletter, as a matter of fact, articles are desparately needed to get the show on the road and keep it there. Currently I am the correct person to send articles to (yes, they can be sent via NETMAIL). They can be of any length (I reserve the right to edit them), you keep all rights to your work, by submitting the article you grant ISA permission to publish the article, and no, we don't pay. However the fine print clearly states in invisible ink that those of the sex you prefer will find you incredibly attractive and you will get three of four offers a day for a one month period after your article is printed. We also offer a money back guarantee. The names that I have added to the mailing list, by request, are: Ralph Johnson, Richard Peskin, Kevin Twidle, and Eric Weitzman. Robert Gayvert - I would really like to add you as well...but I'll need your address! I agree that it would be a good thing to put the Public Domain Smalltalk code up on the net....but I'm afraid there is a little to much of it to be practical. If there is a "better way", please let me know, I'll certainly do what I can. The first volume I believe is around 300 kb, although I haven't looked it for quite a while now. If you have any Smalltalk code you would like to put into the public domain please send a copy to me (preferably DOS format) at: Simulation Sciences inc. ATTN: Paul Regenhardt 6000 East Evans Ave. Bldg 3, Suite 201 Denver, CO 80222 I am currently compiling the 2nd volume and would like to see some more stuff! Currently the hottest thing in the second volume is the hypertext editor and hypertext display system. Anyone who donates code will automatically receive the second volume when it's compiled. The rest of you may have to suffer interminably (how's that for blackmail?) --- ZMailQ 1.12 (QuickBBS) * Origin: Jaguar's NetWorking Labs, (303)377-2371 HST/v.32 (200:5000/500.0) -- ============================================================================= Paul Regenhardt - via MetroNet node 200:5000/301 The Bohemia BBS System, Boulder Colorado (303)449-8946 UUCP: Paul.Regenhardt@p0.f500.n5000.z200.METRONET.ORG or : ...!boulder!bohemia.METRONET.ORG!500.0!Paul.Regenhardt =============================================================================
