A friend of mine has an address of the form:

	user@node.bitnet

I can send mail to him without any problem, but when he tries to send
stuff to me, he hits a wall apparently between bitnet and usenet, or 
maybe even between his node and bitnet. The node is running a VAX/VMS
mailer, so that his specification must begin:

	in%"<address>"

To complicate things, my address is absolute (a uucp bang-path) from uunet
on down, and the parser on his side always chokes on the bangs first
and foremost. 

Any suggestions? You may e-mail me BUT don't do an automatic reply (it
sends messages into limbo). Thanks in advance.
