Multimedia refers to the used of additional extra media like sound card (like Sound Blaster), video laser disk (even though the data from the laser disk does not go thru the computer, the disk is controlled by the computer so that any scene from the disk can be sent to a regular TV screen any time the computer feels like it), etc, in a computer program for presentation purpose. The only sure thing I know is that Mr Gates is going to get another billion out of us!
