Message-ID: <11512@ur-cc.UUCP> Date: 8 Jan 91 13:11:05 GMT Distribution: usa Organization: University of Rochester - Rochester, New York Lines: 10 I have a Panasonic 1124 printer. Since Panasonic ribbons aren't cheap, I've tried two or three "factory quality" compatible ribbons from places like Midwest Micro and MEI. Either it's my imagination, or they really don't match up to the real thing. If they have reinkers, the reinkers don't work; if they don't have reinkers, they fade pretty fast. Is it just me, or have others noticed a difference between original manufacturer and compatibles? Are there any really good clone ribbons? -- David Sewell, English Dep't, University of Rochester, New York USA dsew@cc.rochester.edu || dsew%cc.rochester.edu@uorvm.BITNET
