I have a system running SCO Xenix 2.3.2, and would like to be able to run a Texas Instruments TI-810 printer, with a standard AT serial port. I have tried to configure various RS-232 cables and have had no luck, though I have on an Altos system. On the AT serial port, I am using the 9 pin serial port. I am having a flow-control problem. My understanding from reading the TI-810 manual, that the printer only supports DTR, and will not support Xon/Xoff. My configuration is as follows: System Printer System Printer 9pin 25pin 9pin 25pin - cable 2----------2 2----------2 3----------3 3----------3 5----------7 5----------7 6----------20 6----------11 |---6 |--6 |---8 |--8 |---9 |--9 If someone is able to assist me, I would appreciate your technical information. -- Lawrence Westrheim - The Westrheim Group - Vancouver, BC, Canada ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ uunet!van-bc!twg!larry (604) 431-9600 (voice) | UNIX Systems larry@twg.bc.ca (604) 430-4329 (fax) | Integration
