Summary: Anybody got experience? Recommendations? Message-ID: <1991Jan14.195310.8697@tsa.co.uk> Date: 14 Jan 91 19:53:10 GMT Sender: domo@tsa.co.uk (Dominic Dunlop) Followup-To: comp.sys.mac.hardware Organization: The Standard Answer Ltd. Lines: 14 When my Portable is on my desk, I'd like it to have Ethernet connectivity -- preferably at above LocalTalk speeds. I'd like to hear, therefore, from anybody with experience of using an external SCSI-interfaced EtherNet adaptor with a Portable. Does it work? Is it worth what you paid? What software did you need to get it to do what you wanted? Failing that, how well does the Portable work with LocalTalk to Ethernet bridges? Same questions apply. Ususal deal. I'll post a summary if sufficient people ask for it, and if there's sufficient stuff mailed to me to make a summary worthwhile. -- Dominic Dunlop
