A while ago somebody mentioned a program to get the serial-number for 
PCNFS.SYS from a server and patch it into the in-memory copy of the
driver. Since we are about to install PC-NFS on our student pc's, this
could make life a lot easier for us. Any pointers will be appreciated.

[Sun could make this part of PCNFSD; each license would have a magic
key to be added to a file on the server. Removing this silly scheme
completely would be better still. Are we listening guys ?]
