At Interop '90 there was a small "Solutions Showcase (tm) Demonstration"
on PPP.  It had cisco, Telebit, 3Com, and Network Systems communicating
at 56K bps synchronous and Telebit, INTERACTIVE, and Xylogics communicating
at 9.6K and 19.2K bps asynchronous.  There is also a nice little article
discussing SLIP and PPP in the January 7, 1991 _UNIX Today!_.
