[Discussion about VT100 emulation skipped]

I think the best thing that anyone who is writing a terminal emulator of
any sort can do is... get hold of the terminal! If you're writing a VT200
emulator, then get a VT200 (about 150 pound second hand) and USE IT! PC
Terminal Emulators are particularly bad (mostly because the PC is dreadful).
To someone who uses a terminal all the time, accurate emulation is vital!
