I have an A500, and (in a year or two) want to upgrade to an A2000, 5MB, A2630 (68030 accelerator), SCSI card & drive, and a Bridgeboard. Now with the A3000 I get all of that without wasting space except for the Bridgeboard (does anyone know if a Bridgeboard works in an A3000 yet? How about the '386 one). As far as all the stuff that does not work right on the A3000... it is mostly games so that is no major concern for my and as far as hardware... it's RAM boards and SCSI cards... but that is on the motherboard of the A3000, so why bother anyway? So, in short, the A3000 is definitely worth it for some one in my position, but it would be good for many A2000 owners to be able to get the 2.0 Kickstart ROM also. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- ProLine: danb20@pro-graphics *************************** UUCP: ...crash!pro-graphics!danb20 * Dan Bachmann * ARPA/DDN: pro-graphics!danb20@nosc.mil * Raritan Valley College * Internet: danb20@pro-graphics.cts.com *************************** P-Link: DanB20 <-- I only read PLink once a mo. use Internet U.S.Mail: 509 StonyBrook Drive, Bridgewater, NJ 08807
