I recently came across a reference from the journal Mikrocomputer
Zeitschrift (no. 7, p. 34-48; July 1988).  The article apparently
describes an artificial life simulation on an Amiga written in
Modula-2 (source included).  The article is in German.

The description sounded interesting enough that I wonder whether
the source or binary has been posted to Usenet.  I would like to
try this out on my A1000. Since I don't have Modula-2, the 
binary is more likely more useful to me.
