Make sure you have the 3.09 release -- it is very robust on the Amiga. As to the question of running from of RAD:, I did that for months at a stretch before buying a HD. Just follow the installation instructions for a HD but use RAD: instead of DH0:. You'll have to be pretty careful about how you size your RAD: to have enough room in 2.5 megs for both the game and room to execute the game and show its screen. Kent, the man from xanth.
