Going to have to try harder folks.  If .misc made it to your site, so did:

.advocacy, for talking about Copperman's transfer, layoffs, C= R&D spending;

.marketplace for personal ads, discussions of educational discounts;

.introduction, for asking about FAQ postings.

.datacomm, for discussions of moving data from Macs to Amigas, or suitable
modems for BBS and kermit use (egad!)

This reorganization only works if _everyone_ takes a little more time than
evidenced so far to _think_ about where a posting is headed.
