Help me! >[...] Formatting your hard drive was major overkill. You don't need to do that to install DOS on it. Just type "SYS C:" and that will copy all the system files. I think that should be enough to get you booted. I think SYS also modifies the boot sector so that DOS can boot off of it. Either way, once you've done that you could just copy your DOS files to drive C: ( you could even do the copying from the desktop if you wanted ) and that's all it takes. Formatting your hard drive is a lot to sacrifice to get DOS on the hard drive. Heck, just having DOS take up the space is a waste! :-) I don't know about the rest of your problems. Wish I could help.
