In one of the courses here at the college I am involved with, we just received
4 1040STe machines.  As a result, I am now in need of information on the STe
pertaining to its hardware/memory layout. In other words, if anyone out there
can send me info on the DMA sound (at a register level) and another hardware
changes I would appreciate it.

(BTW: the course is a system software course; last years big assignment was to
write a midi-based 'talk' or 'phone' utility.  The Atari OS isn't used as the
course is designed to teach hardware interfacing and programming.)
