Since Avant-Garde is out of business, can someone help me? I have an ICD host adaptor, Quantum 80MB SCSI drive, and a standard Mega 2 ST. I am using IBM PC-DOS version 3.30 and PC-Ditto version 3.00. TOS 1.4 is installed. I have gotten PC-Ditto to run, it recognizes 4 partitions on the hard drive (from the initial screen), I insert a DOS 3.30 floppy, which successfully boots and I am faced by an A> prompt. HOWEVER, when I attempt to FORMAT C: /S as requested it gives a divide by zero error. When I do an FDISK I get another divide by zero error. Help me! I have cleared out the C: partition (0) on my hard disk and would like to install DOS on there. I have removed everything from this first partition and in the meantime I am unable to use my hard drive. Does anyone know what the "divide by zero" error message is coming from?
