You will need 8 of them to get 512K. The price of the chip is from 1.00-2.00. You might also need to get some sockets for the chips as most of the 1764 REU's do not have the sockets in. So you are looking to spend around 15.00 at the most. Do not send in your REU to that guy that is doing the job that is listing in the RUN magazine. He is charging 79.00 for the job.
