Subject: Terminal as DS500 console?

We would like to make an ordinary >VT100 terminal the console of 
a Decstation 5000. The graphics console should NOT be able to 
log in as root. The terminal should be the primary device outputting 
error information after booting. It is in a secure environment, but 
the graphics screen is not. 

Are there any problems to be forseen with that approach?
