(the editor is muh nicer under P/OS, and the whole keyboard inst activiated under RT) Anyways, I downloaded some files from the DECUS RSX BBS, in hopes of running them under P/OS (P/OS _is_ a brain-damaged version of RSX, isnt it?) Anyways, after I was done downloading them, I returned to command level of P/OS and tried to RUN one of them: $ RUN COOKIE, and P/OS reports that this file is not a task image. Ok, so I tried INSTALL and INSTALL/FIX, with the same results... The question being: shouldnt RSX executables run under P/OS? I mean, P/OS is supposed to run RSX stuff, isnt it?? Or perhaps I am mistaken? Or something... (fyi, in case anyone asks. I used Kermit, and on my end of Kermit I set it for automatic detection of file types: SET FILE AUTO. After it didnt work the first time, I tried SET FILE BINARY, so I know its probably not an error in the transfer, most likely an something with P/OS) Billy D'Augustine Azog-Thoth@cup.portal.com
