There is a 3rd-party interface card available from I.E.M., of Fort Collins CO. It does support 9190A/9195A ScanJet duplex I/O. It is fairly inefficient, as it emulates a 98626A tty card at the backplane and does not support DMA. There is a contributed scanner application available that works with both the IEM card and the 375/400 parallel port. For output only, HP now offers an HP-IB to centronics converter for a little over $200, product numbers 92203J or 92203K, depending on AC adaptor required. I have used this, and it is very satisfactory. Should you upgrade your 300 to a 375 (via board swap on models 330, 350, 360 and 370), it has one full-duplex centronics port built in.
