Is it possible to connect a HP1000 model A900 running RTEA to ethernet?

We would like to ftp files to a Sun. The protocol is TCP/IP.

Is there any third party company doing this kind of interface and the
software? Two years ago, HP was asking about 25 k.$ for this...

Our budjet is smaller than 25K.
