Over the holidays I visited a friend who demonstrated a few Sierra games using the Roland MT32 sound module. I was amazed; I own several of these games, but I never knew that they had such great music imbedded in those RESOURCE files! If I have the money soon, I'll probably purchase this unit. It blows the Adlib and Soundblaster cards out of the water. Someone informed me that the MT32 has been discontinued and that the newer model will cost around $900. Meanwhile, the MT32's are being liquidated for around $350. Is this correct? Is this a good price? Does the included documentation explain how to program the device, or it marketed merely as a game enhancement?
